January Daily

-Wednesday: Slept in until 11:15 after the late parties!  Awesome!  Had the Sargeant kids over.  I downloaded some anti-virus software, Lightroom...tried to figure out Project Life a bit...got started...

-Thursday:

-Friday: Went to the Thurstons for their date night.  Jake worked on the pantry shelf?  (Not sure if that was today or not?)

-Saturday: Jake took Ellie to the bank and ran an errand-then I went to Bethany Condie's baby shower at the Olive Garden.  Took Natalie and Abbey.  So fun to spend time with them!  Went out with Jake.  Watched "Secret Life of Walter Mitty".  Enjoyed it.

-Monday: BELOW FREEZING temps-school cancelled!  Ellie got to hear the call that said no school tomorrow.  She was thrilled.  So fun!

-Tuesday:  BELOW FREEZING temps-school cancelled!  Tried ice bubbles-they kind of worked, not entirely.  Made mini ones.  It was a fun experiment.  Too windy.

-Wednesday: Tried to work out at home.  The girls tried to take over.  Started it without me and wanted to use my mat when I wasn't on it.  Cute...and kind of annoying.  :)

-Thursday: Made waffles.  Ellie went to school.  After school I took the girls to the Main Library.  Was so fun.  Ellie checked out a ton of A to Z Mystery Books.  I got some books on CD.  My van died and I was so fortunate to have someone right next to me help me out, than another man clean off the battery terminals...a HUGE blessing!  Was so relieved.

-Friday: Ellie didn't go to school again...

-Saturday: Had the day to myself!  Went to a baptism for Bud, a new member.  Enjoyed his testimony.  Went on a hunt to find containers for the pantry-for waffle mix and for granola.  Started out at Odd Lots, then went to Container Store.  So fun...love that store!  Talked with Kelli Brown during most of my visit there, love that girl!  Went to Macy's on the hunt for a new perfume.  Found one I love.  Then I went to Barnes & Noble and perused around.  Found some books for Jake.  Ran into Rachel Fiatoa.  Then I got a white hot chocolate from Starbucks and sat and tried to figure out Photoshop for Project Life.  This is going to be much harder than I thought it would be but I felt like I learned some things...came home, watched Swiss Family Robinson with the fam, worked out and chilled.  A fabulous day!  I want to do this more often!!

-Sunday: Stayed home from church with Ellie.  So sad how awful she sounds!  I listened to a lot of conference talks which was very uplifting.  Started to get a tickle in my throat..uh oh.

-Monday: Ellie stayed home from school.  Poor girl sounded just awful....and now I am full blown sick.

-Tuesday: Took Ellie to the doctor.  They said she was ok to go back go school.  So she went in for a half day.  I was feeling quite awful so I stayed home from Young Women's.  (The Mia Maids had planned Just Dance!)

-Wednesday: Went to Target on the hunt for some baskets for the living room shelf.  Everything was so expensive!  :(  Didn't walk away with anything.  Mom and Dad came over--so fun to see them and spend time with them-looked at Ellie's special box.  I stayed up super late working on compiling 2013 Ellie Chatter.  Was so so fun!  Found out that OH only sees the sun 50% of the year...Looked at some houses in Florida!  SO thrilled at the possibility of moving there!

-Thursday:  Went to the Reynoldsburg Library, checked out a book on CD by Dr. Wayne Dyer.  Took Bindy Kincaid to work.  Mailed out some Christmas thank you notes.  Ellie went to the Downings after school.

-Friday: After school Natalie took Ellie to Target.  Hunted for baskets for the living room at the thrift store... It was super great as Melans napped for 3 1/2 hours and I was able to keep her asleep...and sleep myself!   In the evening we watched Pippy Long Stockings.

-Saturday: Jake had to work.  Ellie and I opened up the ice balloon/balls.  They were colorful and beautiful.  So glad we did that!!  It was so much fun.  The insides looked so neat.  Jake brought home Mi Mexico and Krispy Kreme donuts.   In the evening Ellie was going to watch Frozen with Jake but she felt sick...so we stayed home and watched the first part of Epic.

-Sunday: Autumn stayed home from church.  Slept a lot.  In the afternoon Jake went home teaching.  After the girls went to bed, the Fiatoas came over to home teach.

-Monday: Autumn was sick...again.  It was MLK day so Ellie took care of Melans-brought her downstairs and gave her breakfast and dressed her.  Autumn slept...later the girls played on the drums and Ellie danced.  We did "Miss Mary Mack".  Made myself make Tuna Helper for dinner-was so proud that I made anything because I felt dizzy even standing up...Ellie read an A to Z Mystery, listened to one on CD, Melans and I played with MagnaFormers, played with the wooden dolls.  I made a skilookie for lunch..quite nutritious, no?  Ellie was going to go watch Frozen with Ellie but her tummy was hurting.
